This therapeutic massage technique employs hands-on bodywork, targeting acupressure points along the body's twelve meridians to restore Yin and Yang balance. Each meridian corresponds to a specific organ, with Yin and Yang meridians interconnected, forming a vital network that links the internal organs. These twelve meridians serve as the primary pathways for the flow of Qi and blood, facilitating the exchange of vital energy within the body.
The practitioner applies varying degrees of pressure, from gentle to firm, to activate the body's defensive Qi (Wei Qi) and stimulate energy flow through the meridians and muscles. This approach benefits a wide range of individuals, including athletes recovering from strenuous workouts, clients rehabilitating from physical injuries, and those who prefer deep tissue palpation for enhanced circulation and detoxification.
Optimal Benefits: Achieve maximum results with a series of 3 to 5 consecutive sessions.

If you can't turn your head or lift your arm without pain, then you know that you are in need of a massage. The ability to relax your muscles and leave you less stressed is one of the major benefits of medical massage.
Of the many people who have gone in for massage therapy from me, 98% of them agreed that massage can help in reducing different types of pain. The days when massages were only for the rich and it was just to pamper yourself are long gone, and it’s been proven there are many medical benefits to getting a good massage.
If you have aches and pains or are constantly stressed and have been considering going in for a deep tissue massage, but just aren’t sure it’s right for you, read on below for a few of the top signs you need to go in for massage therapy.
You’re Having Persistent Headaches
Whether it’s a tension headache or a migraine, if you have ever suffered from persistent headaches, then you already know that they can affect your daily activities greatly. It is said that one of the benefits of massage therapy is that it relieves the stress in your neck and shoulders that causes those tension headaches you’ve been suffering from.
Recurring Back, Neck, and Hip Pain
If you’re suffering from back, neck, or hip pain that just won’t go away or that keeps coming back no matter what you do, then scheduling an appointment for a massage might be just what the doctor ordered. It’s important to note that pain is our bodies way of telling us something isn’t right. While you may be busy, it’s important not to ignore the signs. If you do, the injury is just going to get worse. Try scheduling a round of massage therapy to take care of that pain. If the pain persists, it’s important to get in touch with me, however, to see if there is an underlying cause for the pain that needs to be treated as well.
Your Muscles Are Stiff
If you can’t turn your head or lift your arm without pain, then you know that you are in need of a massage. The ability to relax your muscles and leave you less stressed is one of the major benefits of medical massage. Not only does a deep tissue massage banish the stiffness and reduce your stress, but it also helps to reduce the pain and inflammation caused by that stiffness as well.
You’re Sleep Deprived
Believe it or not, massage therapy has been known to help with insomnia. Do you find yourself waking up at all hours of the night or suffering from insomnia on a regular basis? This can leave you sleep-deprived, and irritable, and even make it extremely difficult for you to get through the day. Try scheduling a time to go in for a massage at least once a week. You’ll be surprised at how well you sleep afterward, as massages not only deal with the physical pain and inflammation you’re having, it deals with the mind as well, relaxing you where you can finally get a good night’s sleep.
You’re Stressed All of the Time
In a world that is constantly about hurry up and go, it’s easy to become stressed, which makes you irritable and tired all of the time. You can’t slow down, of course, because you have everything from work to social and family obligations to meet, so what can you do? Schedule a deep tissue massage to help you relax and become less stressed over time. Remember, stress is one of the number one killers in the United States today. You might not be able to eliminate the stress, but a good massage will help you to manage it at least.
Remember, being stressed can be responsible for a lot of what ails you, from headaches to neck strain. However, it is important, if the problems persist, that you get in touch with me for treatment for any underlying problem you might have.
These are just a few of the top signs and reasons that you might want to schedule a deep tissue massage today, You’ll be happy you did!

My name is Roy. I have been suffering from sciatica for many years, pain radiates along the right leg runs down from the lower back, and is recurrent, and also done some treatments, but the results were not good, in 2017, a friend recommended Sue' Wellness Massage. I do search on google but didn't see any review online. I was a little hesitant because my friend said that she is the best. I'd like to see more reviews to make sure I'm not wasting my time and money, but I can't find anything about Sue's reviews. I decided to book a 90-minute deep tissue massage via text message due to in view of my trust in my friends.
Sue's massage is not the same that the massage I used to get, I cannot stand when you get a massage that barely feels the touch. she could identify my problem spots just through her expert touch without me needing to guide her there. She began by methodically identifying each knot and working it out through various techniques and exercises. It was so painful but it feel good after the knots were worked through, she continued with techniques to relax my full body and did guide stretches. I have never experienced a massage that was so technical and thorough.
After 6 massages, my painful symptoms, and all soreness was gone.
I am now a loyal customer of hers and she makes me feel that She cares about her clients.
In short, I highly recommend Sue If you want someone that truly understands massage, and truly identifies your pain points to yield long-term relief, you will be pleased.

It is believed that these 12 major meridians connect specific organs or networks of organs, organizing a system of communication throughout your body.
Acupressure Massage Treatments used for thousands of years in China. Acupressure is often thought of as simply acupuncture without needles. Acupressure applies the same principles as acupuncture to promote relaxation and wellness and to treat disease. Traditional Chinese medical theory describes special acupoints, or acupressure points, that lie along meridians, or channels, in your body. Through these invisible channels flows vital energy -- or a life force called qi (ch'i). It is also believed that these 12 major meridians connect specific organs or networks of organs, organizing a system of communication throughout your body. The meridians begin at your fingertips, connect to your brain, and then connect to an organ associated with a certain meridian.
According to this theory, when one of these meridians is blocked or out of balance, illness can occur. Acupressure and acupuncture are among the types of TCM that are thought to help restore balance.

This is Lynda, in 2018 I went to Coastal Day Spa, where located in Jupiter FL. I first met Sue there. I’ve had many massages in my life. Sue's massage has changed my life more than the other ones combined. The difference? Sue knows medical massage. A typical day for me has been one of upper back discomfort and tension(this is also my husband's problem) and this is causing my headaches. Sue was different in technique and result. I had booked a standard deep tissue massage with her, but I got a lot more than that. Sue felt all of the stubborn knots in my back and told me she was “going to get that out. and will feel better after that”.Then she explained how the twelve meridians of the human body affect health, soreness, or pain because the meridians are blocked and the causes of meridians blocked are mostly caused by back fasciitis, which is caused by long-term chronic strain and chronic inflammation of the back fascia. She recommends applying more heat, taking more warm baths, taking more saunas, and local Physiotherapy, and massage, which is all conducive to the recovery of the disease...
40 minutes later, my complete shock, actually released the knots that I had. It went from very painful to… gone. Mind you, this knot had been there for years, surviving numerous massages, and now it just… relaxed.
And I should mention that it was the most painful massage I’ve ever had but don’t get me wrong, it was the best massage I’ve ever had, too. It hurt, yes, but it simultaneously felt so good and so important. It makes sense, as she was releasing muscles that had been painfully contracted for years. They weren’t going to let up without some amount of fight.
It took my body 2-3 days to recover. I was very sore in the areas she worked. In the week after the massage, my back felt normal, and my strength and mobility increased remarkably.
A Week Later: I invited her to my home for a Second Massage for my husband and me. She did more of a standard deep tissue massage, and it worked beautifully. More knots were released, and my upper back and neck haven’t felt this good in years. I’m sure I will need more massages in the future, so this isn’t a one-time cure. The condition of my back is permanently better now especially if I continue stretching as she heartily recommends.
I had in fact been looking for her for years without success, going through the roulette wheel of masseuses. I’ve had some very good masseuses throughout the years, of course, but none addressed my problem. None released my knots.
I also asked Sue's massage why different from any previous masseuse because they don’t have training in medical massage, only therapeutic. They try to go deep into the muscle immediately without releasing the fascia first, which is somewhat useless.
I have known Sue for 4 years. She travels to my house every week for a massage. I was having a sore back, bad headaches, and issues with pain down my left arm, and for years now She has fixed all my medical issues and I finally feel so good! I had seen many doctors and all they would prescribe physical therapy or wanted to do was give me meds.
Sue's massage has been changing my life, it already has been for me.
I recommend Sue highly. She is a very hard-to-come-by massage therapist.

A Meridian massage is an ancient form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)
In recent decades, researchers have been more interested in lifestyle as an important factor of health. According to WHO, 60% of related factors to individual health and quality of life are correlated to lifestyle. Millions of people follow an unhealthy lifestyle. Hence, they encounter illness, disability, and even death.
TCM can boost your energy and immunity, relieve pain, rebalance your inner system, improve vital organ health, minimize stress and anxiety, promote youthful-looking skin, and even keep many disorders from appearing or progressing.
As TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), the origin of TCM can be pushed back to primitive society. In the process of searching for food, people found that certain foods can alleviate or eliminate certain diseases, so they discovered and applied TCM; on the basis of heating by fire, they found that hot stones or sand were wrapped with animal skins and barks, local heating can eliminate certain pains, and hot ironing and moxibustion have gradually emerged; in the process of using stone tools as production tools, it was found that when a part of the human body is stimulated, it can relieve pain in another part, thus creating the use of Bian stone, acupuncture, and moxibustion, and gradually formed the theory of meridians.
TCM is commonly known as "Oriental Medicine", which includes acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, massage, acupressure, moxibustion, cupping, breathing, exercise therapy, heat therapy, cold therapy, magnetic therapy, nutritional therapy, diet therapy, herbal therapy, phytotherapy, Dietary supplement therapy, etc.
At present, this "traditional medicine from the East" has no racial and regional limitations, but has completely become the commonwealth of the world.
Meridians are the basis of TCM. There are 12 major meridians in a body and these meridian lines are all connected to major organs. These twelve meridians are associated with a specific organ: the heart, lung, stomach, kidney, large intestine, small intestine, liver, bladder, gallbladder, and spleen are each represented by a meridian.
Meridians are like rivers, carrying the flow of energy (Qi) just like a river carries the flow of water to different destinations in a specific direction.
These meridian pathways work by distributing energy, nutrients, and blood across the body in just about the same way as the circulatory system. The Meridian exists on the surface of the body, crisscrossed and spread all over the body, connecting the inside and outside of the human body, the viscera, and the limbs into an organic whole. The meridians are the channels that run Qi and blood, connect the viscera, the surface of the body, and all parts of the body, and are the regulation system of human body functions. It can adjust the balance of yin and yang in the body and can dominate human life. The main cause of the disease is the blockage of the meridians. Therefore, in order to regulate yin and yang and cure all diseases, it is necessary to clear the meridians first. In accordance with the theory of TCM meridians and acupoints, we take acupuncture, moxibustion, Tuina, massage, and Chinese herbal medicine to achieve exorcism and cure diseases, and restore balance of yin and yang to the body. It can be said that if the meridians are unobstructed, the person will be healthy; if the meridians are blocked, the person will be sick.
The meridian cannot be seen, but it does not mean that it does not exist.
A Meridian Massage is an ancient form of TCM.
The 12 Major Meridians
Lung Meridian - Controls how energy is consumed and impacts the respiratory system.
Large Intestine Meridian - Regulates the processing and extraction of water from waste.
Stomach Meridian - Regulates the extraction of nutrients from food, nutrient distribution to the intestines and spleen, and the overall digestion of food.
Spleen Meridian - Eliminate any chronic diseases, it is the foundation of acquired, the source of qi and blood biochemistry.
Heart Meridian - Regulates the circulation of blood to all organs.
Small Intestine Meridian - is responsible for digestion, water absorption, nutrient absorption, and bowel functions.
Bladder Meridian - Regulates the removal of the toxins from the body.
Kidney Meridian - Regulates the reproductive system, and testosterone levels, and produces bone marrow and blood.
Pericardium Meridian - Regulates the energy (Qi) that surrounds the heart, and protects the heart, ensuring proper function and emotional balance.
Triple Warmer Meridian - Regulates the metabolism of the body and promotes general wellness.
Gall Bladder Meridian - Regulates the removal and storage of toxins that are produced by the liver.
Liver Meridian - Regulates the female reproductive system, and circulation of energy, and maintains the flexibility of the ligaments and the tendons.
Hence, if there is an issue with a particular channel or organ, these problems can be addressed by treating various points.
When these pressure points are being stimulated, it activates a series of networks along the meridian.
This activation is what then carries the effect of the massage from one end of the body to another providing the desired healing effect.
Getting a Meridian massage can definitely help to re-balance your system and enhance your overall health.
